With the growing popularity of football (that’s soccer to Americans) and the pending World Cup set to be hosted in the USA in 2026, you’d think that Las Vegas would have all the big Premier league games on every other screen in all their sports bars and sports bets… Unfortunately not. While a few bars and casinos will show the odd game, 9 times out of 10 there won’t be any sound and seating will be limited, making the experience less than ideal for footy fans. If you’re looking to actually enjoy the sport you love while also indulging in a great atmosphere, check out these local spots.
McMullan’s Irish pub – located a 5 min Uber off the strip, (just behind the New York New York casino and next to The Orleans casino) this pub provides football fans with great viewing options, a cozy interior and a fairly decent Full English. The menu also boasts sausage rolls and British beer – which is the closest you’re going to get to pub culture in the states. +1.702.274.7000
Crown and anchor – located 10 mins off the strip behind the MGM, this proper English pub even looks like your local. With wooden beams and an old black cab outside the front, you’ll get that little taste of home when you’re feeling nostalgic (or just want a good meal). Not only do they offer full English and British beer, but on select days they also do a roast dinner should you be craving it. +1.702.739.8676
Blondies sports bar – located inside the Planet Hollywood miracle mile shops, the waitresses wear cheerleader outfits and the menu offers cheap wings. It’s a great spot and one of the only bars on the strip that shows SOME of the games with the sound on. RiRa Irish bar – located at Mandalay Bay (in the shops and restaurants between this hotel and Luxor). As well as Guinness being on draught, their fish and chips are probably the best in Vegas! As with Blondies, it’s best to call them before you go, since they sometimes only show certain games, and sound options can vary. +1.702.632.7771
Kickers – located downtown / Fremont street. A generic American sports bar with lots of beer choices and your usual wings/hotdogs etc. Similarly to the other on-strip bars, be sure to call ahead for games and to check whether they’ll have the sound on.
